Touring the North Central coast

Drive along the Playford Highway, through Parndana till the bitumen runs out. Continue on until the right turn Colman's Road. Follow along until you come to the Billy Goat Falls parking area. About 40 minutes walk will get you to the top of the falls. Best after rain.

Return along Colman's Road and turn right onto Berryman's Road, where you will pick up the North Coast Road. Turn left. Follow the signs to Western River Cove. Drive carefully down the steep hill into the cove. It is a delightful place, great for fishing or a swim.

Turn sharp left out of the car park and follow the coast road up the hill. Turn left onto the North Coast Road and follow the hill tops to Constitution Hill, which will take you down to Snellings Beach and Middle River. Don't miss the view point at the top of Constitution Hill, it really is worth stopping there.

Snellings Beach is great for fishing from the beach or headlands, and Middle River has some large Bream at times.

Continue along the North Coast Road, which you can follow back to Kingscote, or take a side trip down to King George Beach, then up the Range Road for a more interesting return to the Stokes Bay Road and Bark Hut Road or Playford Highway back to Kingscote.
